Started in 2001 by a group of former employees of the now defunct *Hilleng Pty Ltd, Desitrol was created to bring together this experience that would otherwise be lost.
Since that time we have grown into a strong and diverse organisation, both in Panel Machine Manufacture and as General Engineers, and special purpose machinery makers.
Our success is reflected in the fact that of the 13 odd Panel machines now operating in Australia 9 of these are now using Desitrol equipment!
The Desitrol Insulated Panel Production line is the result of over Thirty Years
of experience in the design and manufacture of Panel producing equipment.
Our machines use tried and tested technology recently redesigned using the latest 3D
modelling techniques and computer analysis combined with top quality components and
expert manufacture by skilled qualified tradesmen to produce arguably the best machinery of it's kind in the world.
Our engineers all worked under our Patron Mr Alan Hill, the inventor of Horizontal Panel Laminating machinery
in Brisbane Australia Circa 1973. Our head engineer Mr John Goasdoue was responsible for upgrading of the original design in the early nineties
and invented such innovations as the J-lock Joint, Upside down capillary glueing, Core end milling, and side milling interlocking joints as well as revolutionising
the rollforming and introducing autostart to the panel industry.
