Description:
Designed for Unloading and Stacking of finished Panels. This machine automatically measures the length of the panels, then positions them centrally under the unloader head and picks the panel up via suction cups then places it gently onto the pack conveyor or floor Trolleys. Cycle time is under 25 seconds allowing shorter panels to be stacked. Capacity is 1.5m - 12m in length up to 300mm thick EPS panels.
Principle of operation:
The Conveyor is fitted with two optical encoders. The first encoder 'measures' the length of the panel. The conveyor then runs until the second encoder measures half the length of the panel, thereby positioning the panel exactly centred under the Unloader head. The head is then lowered onto the panel where suction cups are actuated. The panel is then lifted and and transported to the floor conveyor. The suction is then released so the head can return to the home position ready for the next panel.
