Description:
Designed for lengthways cutting of Insulated Panels This machine is capable of straight cuts in both the top and bottom skins. Positioning of the special cutting heads as well as machine control and manual operation are via a 150mm colour touch screen (HMI). The special cutters shear the skins and produce a rolled safety edge in one operation with no swarf, sparks or cutting chips. Core material is not cut, allowing the panel to be transported to site safely then cores can be cut via a simple hand operated cable cutter on site. This allows for lengthways mitre cuts as well as square cuts.
Principle of operation:
The special cutting heads are positioned via ballscrews and encoders. top and bottom heads can be positioned independently. Six pairs of rubber coated drive rollers then drive the panel past the cutters, thus panel length is only limited by factory space and handling limitations.
